Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to Ultimate Underfloor Heating Solutions Limited, trading through underfloorkits.com (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Underfloor Kits” or “Underfloor Heating Store”).

The terms “you”, “your”, “customer”, or “user” refer to the person placing an order, receiving goods, using our website, or contacting us in relation to our products and services.

By placing an order with us (online, by phone, by email, or through any Underfloor Kits online portal) or by using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Forming a Contract

2.1 When you place an order, you are offering to buy a product from us. We will acknowledge receipt of your order by email, but this does not mean we have accepted it.

2.2 A contract is only formed once we confirm your order and advise that it is ready for dispatch (“Order Confirmation”).

2.3 The contract relates only to the products stated in the Order Confirmation.

2.4 For orders placed by phone or in person, the same rules apply. If you do not accept these Terms after receiving your invoice, you must tell us before delivery; otherwise, the order will be considered accepted.

3. Cancellations and Returns

3.1 You have a legal right to cancel most contracts within 14 days without giving a reason.

3.2 The cancellation period runs from the date of our Order Confirmation until 14 days after you (or someone nominated by you) receive the goods.

3.3 To cancel, please email info@uuhs.co.uk with your order number, or write to us at our registered address. You may also call us, but we recommend contacting us in writing.

3.4 Exceptions: The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specification, customised items, or goods that are perishable or inseparably mixed with others after delivery.

3.5 Refunds: We will refund you within 14 days of receiving returned goods, minus any reduction for handling that goes beyond what is necessary to check the item. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

3.6 Returns: Unless goods are faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning them. If goods are faulty or not as described, we will refund the cost of return.

3.7 Your statutory rights are unaffected.

4. Products, Prices and Payment

  • Descriptions: Product descriptions and specifications are provided as guidance only. We recommend seeking technical advice where necessary.
  • Images: Product images are illustrative only. All images on our site are protected by copyright and cannot be reused without permission.
  • Availability: If a product is unavailable, we may offer a suitable substitute. If none is available, we will refund you in full.
  • Prices: Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs are separate. We reserve the right to correct errors.
  • Payment: Payment must be received before dispatch. Deposits may be required for bespoke or non-stock items.
  • Price Match: If you find an identical product at a lower UK retailer price (subject to our conditions), we will match it.
  • Discounts: Promotions and discount codes cannot be combined unless stated. Offers may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Delivery

5.1 Goods will be delivered to the address provided when ordering.

5.2 Orders placed before 4:00pm on working days are usually processed the same day, subject to stock and checks.

5.3 We are not liable for courier delays. Always allow goods to arrive before booking installation work.

5.4 Deliveries are deemed in good condition unless signed as “damaged” or “unchecked”. Issues must be reported within 48 hours.

5.5 Large orders may be delivered by pallet. Pallet deliveries are kerbside only. Drivers are not insured to bring goods indoors. Please ensure adequate help is available to move goods.

6. Risk and Ownership

6.1 Risk passes to you on delivery.

6.2 Ownership passes only once we have received full payment.

7. Warranty

7.1 Warranties vary by product. They are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.

7.2 Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. See our Warranty Policy for details.

8. Heating Design, Quotations and Sales

8.1 We provide free bespoke design services based on information you supply. We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.

8.2 Assumptions include:

  • Properties meet minimum insulation standards (Part L1A Building Regulations or better).
  • Floor coverings do not exceed 1.5 Tog (0.15m²K/W).
  • Pipe coil allocations are based on supplied plans. Major changes may affect pipe lengths.

8.3 Supplementary heating may be required in high-loss areas such as large glazed rooms. Bathrooms and en-suites should include a towel rail as backup.

9. Trade Accounts

9.1 Trade account applications are at our discretion.

9.2 Accounts may be upgraded, downgraded, or withdrawn without notice.

10. Website Use

10.1 We aim to keep the website available and error-free but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

10.2 You may view and use our website for personal use only. Commercial use, resale, or automated data extraction is prohibited without written consent.

10.3 You must not use the website for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes, or introduce malware or disruptive content.

10.4 All website content is protected by copyright. You may not copy or republish any material without written permission.

11. Data Protection

11.1 We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

11.2 We take reasonable precautions to keep your information secure. We do not store card details directly.

11.3 We will not share your personal data with third parties without consent, except where required to process your order or by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
